PHILLIES BREWERS 8th INNING

Ummmm.... this game isn't really all that exciting and is actually shaping up to be the kind of game that slips throught the Phillies fingers.

Bruntlett is in for Burrell in left.

TONY GYWNN JR- rolls it to 2nd. GREAT PLAY BY UTLEY, just getting the ball the howard in time.

4 outs in 6 pitches.

JASON KENDALL- He is now facing his 6th pitch. Thats the equivalent of the last 4 outs for the Brewers. make that 7, 2-2 count 1 out. Hamels is at 97 pitches. GOT HIM. Hamels may be an alien and I'm ok with that. 9 ks.

CRAIG COUNSELL- Chopped to 3rd. Feliz throws him out.

Hamels may be ok to pitch tomorrow, just watching him walk off the field he doesn't at all seem happy or even remotely interested in doing anything but pitching. If he has a girlfriend he probably won't be getting lucky tonight, too busy thinking about pitching.

Matt Parra is pitching now.

CHASE UTLEY- The 1st half of the season he was definitely MVP, but sort of tapered off. Grounded to 2nd.

RYAN HOWARD- WALKS again. He may not register more then 15 at bats in the playoffs this year.

ERIC BRUNTLETT- Grounds to short, but Hardy fumbles it. BOTH SAFE.

SHANE VICTORINO- Hits it to 2nd, Bruntlett is out, but shane is safe at first, howard is at 3rd. .

I think he's at the top of the list of Phillies I want to hang out with. Utley and Hamels would be busy signing girls breasts.... ok wait Vic is 3rd on the list. Although he's only 5'9 would anybody buy it if we said he was a pro baseball player? I don't know, I should try that out with my Baltimore buddy. He was scouted by the Padres but then torn his shoulder, I think it was his labrum, and that pretty much ended the dream. Although girls are kinda dumb so maybe they wouldn't even notice or care.

PITCHING CHANGE Guillermo Mota is in. This is the 3rd bullpen pitcher this game for the Brewers.

PEDRO FELIZ- Almost a balk, good way to start. VICTORINO STEALS 2nd. Now a base hit will score both. That is awesome. Lidge is warming up and Dobbs is holding a bat, I really don't like Hamels not getting the CG. Feliz almost just smashed the ball into Howard, we really don't need that ok. Broken bat fly out to Counsell in shallow left, good play. And the Phils strand 2 in scoring position.
