PHILS BREWERS 9th INNING

OK THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

Phillies are 3 outs away. And I am terrified. Lidge is 41 for 41 in save opportunities. And they keep bringing it up meaning the streak could end today.

MIKE CAMERON- A 3 run lead isn't a safe lead at all. After starting 0-2 is 3-2 and Lidge can throw anything at this point, RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE STRIKE OUT. 2 outs away.

RAY DURHAM- 1-2 pitch, base hit to right. Man on 1st, the stadium is quiet because we are all thinking the same thing. OH SHIT NO STOP NO NO THIS CANT HAPPEN NO WHY DO YOU HATE US GOD.

RYAN BRAUN- Prince Fielder is on deck. Mr Dangerous is up . OH GOD. He got a piece of that and my heart stopped. Thankfully it hooked left and went foul. 1-2 pitch, ball. 2-2 pitch half Brauns homers come with 2 strikes, super high. 3-2 pitch, don't walk him. Base hit, Durham jets to 3rd. stops then flies home with a Utley slip. 3-1 PHILLIES. Braun stops at 2nd.

PRINCE THE PHILLY KILLER FIELDER- Fielder has that look in his eye. I don't like this at all. I don't know how Fielder missed that but I felt a breeze from the swing. 1-2 pitch 1 out, braun on 2nd. Fielder wants to be a hero, ball. Foul. Ya know Hamels had no trouble with any batter today. Fielder fouled it off Ruiz's mask. The Phillie fans are nervous, ball. Lidge is already at 24 pitches. GOT HIM. Holy shit, how many pitches was that? 14? Wow.

JJ HARDY- Big swing. This is rough, 2-1 pitch and Lidge is either trying to throw junk and hope they swing or Lidge can't find the plate. Great. WALK. 30 pitches guys on 1st and 2nd.

COREY HART- Wild pitch lets both runners advance. Now we got a base hit ties the game. This is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder why Hamels didn't go the whole 9. 1-2 pitch the crowd on its feet and Lidge throws it low. 2-2. GOT HIM...... PHILLIES WIN PHILLIES WIN.

FINALLY. A postseason win. My god I need a drink. Great game from Cole Hamels but other then the 3rd and the 8th the Phillies bats did nothing. And the 3rd had 3 walks and an error.
